This feels like an appropriate title, even though it is just the general wordpress first title. I guess that’s why they use it though…
Writing is one of those things as an English teacher I should do more. I ask my students to write all the time, but I don’t write much except feedback to their work. There’s not a lot of joy in the types of writing I do everyday. Even the little things like text messaging. It is the bane of my existence. It feels contrived, but I hate being seemingly available at all hours of the day to everyone. I get overwhelmed thinking about all the messages and calls I need to be returning, but am choosing to ignore to write this post. First world problems, am I right?
Do people still say that? Will America be considered “first world” for much longer?
Anyway, here I am. You can expect general ramblings, recipes, book reviews and recommendations, lesson plans, pottery projects, and whatever else tickles my fancy. Welcome!
